Day 3 Fishing! This is always fun. We got up again before light and were almost to the river before the sun was in the sky. This time we had no boat because the landrover we brought doesn´t carry it well. We wen´t down the steep bank to the Rio das Mortes which means river of death. It´s named after the stand that the Xavante took there so they wouldn´t be pushed away by white men any more. It was on this river also that first contact (acceptable) was made in 1947 with white man. We were fishing on the bank today. I will get back later.
