Life will be fine. To enjoy the finer things in life may be only to live life whilst we are still alive.
Today I made a new friend and discovered that there is a Sunday brunch on Camp Walker. This makes me happy as I do enjoy the club brunches, and it's always good to meet new people.
Church wasn't quite as awkward this week, however, it still IMHO leaves a lot to be desired. I will be joining the Officers Christian Fellowship next week which will allow me to meet many other people (officers) in a less formal setting. I look forward to finding a good friend over here (other than my wife) to hang out with. I supposed you could say that I am in need of a battle buddy.
